For my project I filmed around the Glastonbury festival of contemporary performing arts. Instead of filming the stuff that normal people would film which would be bands and stuff I filmed the random goings on and really capture the essence and spirit of the festival. I thought that I had managed to do this as I showed people my project and they thought that it looked really good and didn’t have any complaints or anything. Chris told me that I should put some sort of sound clip behind the footage but to be honest with you with the reaction that I got there is no need really.
I think that I have managed to do it at a good standard and keep it up with the pace even though one time I was really incredibly confused about what I was filming. My original idea was to film footage from the gigs I went to but unfortunately that all went to pot because the footage was awful and very shaky but the reason why it was because I filmed it all on a digital camera and it wasn’t appropriate enough for filming so unfortunately I could not use the original Idea that I was going to do.
But all in all I think that my work went really well and I am guaranteed to get a relatively good grade for it.

Diary 2
Today I helped Tom Eldridge in the filming of his scene. I was only an Extra but still I helped out a little bit. I didn't really do much towards my own work however because I forgot my camera but next week I am going to start on the editing side of things and hopefully be finished by the end of tuesday before I set off to Glastonbury.

Diary
At the weekend I have decided that most of the footage I got from the gigs were a bit bad. My origional idea was to get footage of the recent gigs I have been to and compile it so it's a bit like a montage. I found out that most of the footage I got was a bit shakey. I then realised that last year at the Glastonbury Festival I got a bunch of footage which I compiled into a 12 minute short film. I thought that if I could re compile the footage into an even shorter 3 minute film then it would be good. Today I have re written the whole of my paper work. I couldn't do the location recce because I would have had to go to Glastonbury and obviously it isn't on at this time (only 1 week and 2 days to go!). Tonight I will put the footage onto a USB Stick and bring it in tommorow. I will trawl through all the footage and see how many good footage is on there. I will then compile the footage on something like movie maker into a 3 minute short film.
